It was the first restaurant to open its doors at Doca de Santo Amaro, in 1996, becoming one of the city’s references, in a beautiful area of Lisbon. With an exceptional location by the Tagus River, an inviting terrace and an all-hour menu, the emblematic restaurant, which is part of Grupo Capricciosa, was refurbished in 2018. Its 22 years of history and tradition are more modern than ever, now with a contemporary atmosphere, a new lounge outside and the same quality that keeps customers of all generations returning. Doca de Santo is an oasis in the city, perfect to disconnect from the rush of daily file and enjoy the river, always with parking at the door.
Doca de Santo’s menu has Portuguese roots but likes to travel to other latitudes, from where it brings inspiration for some modern dishes. Created in collaboration with Grupo José Avillez, there are options for those looking for a lighter meal, for those who prefer to snack, and for those who are faithful to the classics, like the “Prego” in the Frying Pan and the Prawn Curry. For those who like to enjoy the outdoors, now, after the 2018 renovation, there is a lounge on Doca de Santo’s terrace. Come and relax before a meal in the restaurant, or use it to have lunch outside, late-afternoon drinks and dinners, or to enjoy the sun and the warm nights. We have a menu of snacks to share, including beef croquettes and burrata cheese, and also salads, bruschettas and a succulent “prego.”
The Doca de Santo restaurant is also an excellent choice for large groups, be it for lunch, dinner or even cocktails. We have three rooms that can welcome a total of 220 people (with the possibility of adjusting the seating to 250), so just let us know and we’ll take care of everything. The Doca Room, with a terrace, has about 150 seats; the Fireplace Room, with a deck, has 50 seats; and there is also a mezzanine with 20 seats.
